Do I have to be an athlete to participate?
Absolutely not! Maratona Di Salemi is open to all abilities. The course is open for a maximum 4 hours. We do recommend you have some experience with a half-marathon distance. The course is of moderate difficulty, the climb back into Salemi can definitely be a challenge.
Don’t worry if you don’t make it all the way around the course though. The ‘sweep bus’ will collect you and bring you back to the Castle for the after party!
